Vincent has revealed he was approached by bookies during the 2013
season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), besides admitting that he
failed to bring the incident to ICC’s notice, as demanded by the world
body’s code of conduct.
The right-hander, 35, has clarified he had rejected the ‘offer’.
"I can confirm that I admitted a breach in January 2014 of the ICC
code in failing to report an approach from a bookmaker whilst playing in
the Bangladesh T20 league in January 2013," Vincent said in a
statement.
