Pak cricketers caught ogling at cheerleaders, partying with models!

New Delhi: Known for their inimitable flair and street-smart cricketing sense, Pakistani cricketers are an enigma to many. On some days they decimate the best in business, on most others, they shoot themselves on the foot. From Zaheer Abbas to Javed Miandad to Imran Khan, Pakistan has never had dearth of serious cricketing talent, but unpredictability continues to define them as much as it has defiled and glorified their cricket.
                                 
Throwing light on some of the lesser aspects of Pakistan’s cricket is Shaharyar Khan’s book ‘Cricket Cauldron: The turbulent politics of sport in Pakistan.’ Khan, who served as PCB top boss for three years, was recently in city to launch his book that carries his take on Inzamam-ul-Haq’s overt religiosity, Salman Butt’s avarice and Sachin Tendulkar’s fears.
