BLACK DAY FOR INDIAN CRICKET: Supreme Court Asks BCCI President N Srinivasan To Step Down To 'save Cricket'

Sports News Headlines In English

In a major blow to BCCI President N Srinivasan, the Supreme Court has come down hard on him, saying the board President should step down.

After hearing the inquiry reports submitted by the Justice Mukul Mudgal committee on betting and match-fixing in Indian Premier League 2013, a two-member bench comprising Justice AK Patnaik and Justice Fakkir Mohamed Ibrahim Kalifulla observed, "If you want to clean cricket, Srinivasan has to step down. If he doesn't we will pass the verdict," SC told BCCI lawyers.
