Trying its best to earn back its lost credibility, the BCCI suggested the Supreme Court a three-member committee comprising of prominent names to investigate the IPL spot-fixing scandal, as per the directives releases by the honorable court.
As per media reports, the Working Committee of the Board has
decided to suggest names of former cricketer Ravi Shastri, former
Calcutta High Court Chief Justice J N Patel and ex-CBI Director R K
Raghavan for the same purpose.
Going by the sources, former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee’s
name was also considered in the meeting at one point in time.
