Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Mumbai Indians by 41 runs in the inaugural IPL match being played in Abu Dhabi.
Chasing a total of 164 runs, Mumbai Indians team was all out for 122.

Kallis was the leading run scorer from KKR's side. He scored 72 runs on
46 deliveries ( 5 4s and 3 6s). He was well assisted on the other side
by Manish Pandey- 64 runs on 53 balls (6 4s and 2 6s).
Malinga
did not disappoint his fans and took four crucial wickets for the KKR
side. At the end of the KKR innings, Malinga's figures read- 4-0-23-4.
