With
barely 50 days to go before FIFA World Cup gets rolling in Sao Paulo,
the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour entered its final leg recently. The tour,
that has already covered 89 countries in 221 days, is making its way to
Brazil- hosts of the upcoming mega event- from the US. The final leg
kickstarted from Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday, and will culminate in Sao
Paulo after traversing 27 cities in six weeks.
The tour arrived in the US last week, and was greeted with swarming
fans eager to get clicked with the prestigious trophy. Starting on the
country’s east coast, in Washington DC, a very special activity was held
at the United States' State Department with youth from Boys & Girls
Clubs of America and the Special Olympics alongside VIP guests USA Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry, Olympic and FIFA
