A
sri Lankan Cricket fan unable to cope with India's loss to Sri Lanka
suffered a massive cardiac arrest in Sri Lanka's Gampaha town.
Police said that a Sri Lankan fruit seller had suffered a heart
attack and died after he lost a USD 300 bet that India would win the
cricket T20 WC tournament.
According to the cops, SP Kumara wrongly predicted that Sri Lanka
would repeat their disappointing performance, which they had displayed
at three previous international tournaments and lose to India. He placed
a 40,000-Sri Lankan rupee (Rs18,000 approx) bet to see his home country
lose to India.
